Idea Factory International has announced that the Neptunia motorcycle combat action game Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in January 2025.
The deluxe edition will launch with a 35-page digital art book, a ten-song soundtrack, and a costume set.
A special edition will also be available, though details have not yet been provided. Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos will feature an English dub alongside English, French, and Spanish (Spain) subtitle options.
Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos occurs in a dimension different from Gamindustri, where several distinct Dogoos appear en masse, threatening to take over the land. One lone rider, Uzume, surveys this world in search of an exit. She’s also trying to snap her fellow friends and Goddesses out of their strange Dogoo-induced fervor.
Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos features six playable characters, encouraging players to collect as many variants of Dogoos as possible across 15 Dogoo-filled stages. Some characters excel in close-quarters combat, while others are better at long-range.
Each type of Dogoo has specific behaviors, alongside positive or negative effects, unleashed when collecting them. Learning these intricacies will aid in throwing the detrimental variants toward opponents.
Moreover, your bike can be customized with an altered body, muffler, and tires. These additions can increase the cast’s defense, max speed, acceleration, and maneuverability.
