Opera House announced that their otome visual novel, The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom, is now available on PC via Steam. The game was previously released on Switch in the West but now adds PC to the list of possible places players can experience this charming romance. However, the Steam release does have a discount until October 13.
The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom invites players into a romantic and dramatic world based on the beloved light novel series. The game immerses players in the life of Tiara Rose, a young woman who finds herself reincarnated into her favorite otome game, The Ring of Lapis Lazuli. However, there’s a twist—she’s reborn as the villainess instead of the protagonist. As the story unfolds, her engagement to the crown prince of Lapis Lazuli, Prince Hartknights, is broken, setting her on a different path. To her surprise, Aquasteed, the crown prince of the neighboring kingdom Marinforest, proposes marriage, leading to a heartwarming and unexpected romance.
Players can experience the story with full voice acting from well-known voice actors, alongside high-quality visuals that capture the emotional highs and lows of the narrative. The game also offers alternate endings based on the decisions made throughout the story, allowing players to explore various romantic outcomes. For fans of the original novel, the game provides additional “What If” scenarios, offering new perspectives and bonus love stories with the conquest characters.
