Devolver Digital and Massive Monster have announced the next major free update for Cult of the Lamb, Pilgrim Pack, which will be released on August 12, 2024.
This new DLC will feature the full Pulgrim story and bonus pages, two unique Follower quests, five new Follower forms, two new outfits, and five new decorations. This paid content will launch alongside the previously announced free Unholy Alliance update on all platforms.
Cult of the Lamb has players assume the role of a possessed lamb who has been saved from annihilation by a stranger. Players will need to start their cult in these lands of false prophets, and the goal is to work hard to be the one true cult.
During gameplay, players will build new structures by gathering materials and performing rituals to appease gods. Further, players will need to conduct sermons to gather the most followers. However, there are some non-believers, and they will need to be dealt with through action combat. Players can also train their flock and send them out on missions. The gameloop is to Cleanse the non-believers, spread enlightenment, and perform mystical rituals on the journey to become the mighty lamb god.
