THQ Nordic and Purple Lamp Studios have revealed a new trailer for their upcoming 3D platformer Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed and announced that a demo is now available on all platforms ahead of the game’s release later this month.
In particular, the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, eShop, and Steam all offer this free demo, which will give prospective players a brief taste of what this newly-iterated 3Dd-platforming adventure has to offer.
Pre-orders are available digitally, granting 24 hours of early access alongside the Costume Pack DLC comprised of the Steamboat Willie, Brave Little Tailor, and Football outfits. This costume pack will be purchasable separately for $4.99.
This reimagined Wii release adds a plethora of new content, notably new movement skills, like a dash, ground pound, and sprinting. During gameplay, Mickey explores the Wasteland, a realm of forgotten Disney characters, with his magic brush restoring and altering the environment’s layout, leading to secrets.
Walt Disney’s first creation, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, is present alongside virtual Disney pins. Players can anticipate platforming challenges inspired by animated films and shorts.
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed will be released on September 24, 2024, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
